Chapter 1-4 Questions


Chapter 1
1. How did Diego feel while he was in the court room?
2.Why did it concern Diego that much for Fabio to be looking at him?
3. What was Diego in court for?

Chapter 2
1. Why is Diego so afraid to going up to Ariel?
2. When Diego took the shark tooth and sank it in his skin with pressure, what made him think that the rush he felt was so ok?
3. Why didn't he want to tell his mom about the bandages? Was he afraid of her reaction?

Chapter 3
1. What is Diego's impression of his mom based on the way she gets dressed for the meeting?


Chapter 4
 1. What does Vidas mean when he says "A jail you're making foryourself"
2. Would you say that the decision Diego makes or made was because his real dad and Mac are leaving his life? why?
3. What caused Diego to change the way he felt about talking to Vidas? How does it change his decision on not wanting to be on probation or did it change at all?

    Diego did not want to tell his mom about the bandages because his mom has always cared more about appearances than the things that actually matter, like the problems her son has.

  2. 1. When Vidas says Diego is making a jail for himself he means Diego is locking himself away from the world by hiding all his feelings from everyone.

  3. Julian chapter 4 question 1
    I think what Vidas saying that Diego makes a prison for himself, by choosing to get angry, and not letting people in to help him. (besides Vidas). And choosing to shut everybody out of his life and hurting himself in the process.

  5. Chapter 1 Question 3

    Diego was in court for punching Fabio. The reason why Diego punched Fabio was because he was mad because he thought Fabio was looking at him in a gay way, which he did not take so lightly and caused his reaction.
